FALSTAFF: Slovak wines shine at the record-breaking Danube Wine Challenge 2025
The Danube Wine Challenge 2025 international competition brought historic success for Slovakia – two domestic wines won the prestigious Prix VINOFED award.
At the beginning of June, the enchanting surroundings of Château Béla hosted the 11th edition of the prestigious Danube Wine Challenge international competition, which made history not only for the number of wines evaluated, but also for the success of domestic producers. Slovak wines once again demonstrated their strength – two of them won the Prix VINOFED trophy, one of the highest awards in this competition.
